Football is considered more edgy and more unpredictable game. The rough and tough image of football is quite endearing to the fans. The ninety minute game never sees a dull moment, it’s quick and much to the liking of consumers who are hard pressed for time today. Indians are also very excited about upcoming FIFA World Cup kicking off this June. 56 percent Indians plan to follow the game this season.

In India, Argentina and Brazil are having large number of fans . The Argentina and Brazil Football rivalry is a highly competitive sports rivalry that exists between the national football teams of the two countries, as well as their respective sets of fans. Games between the two teams, even those that are only friendly matches are often marked by notable and sometimes controversial incidents. This rivalry is also called the "Battle of the South Americans."

Argentina has lots of fans in India, and this time they are excited about the fact that Maradona is coaching the team. So, everyone believes Argentina will lift the Cup for the third time as Lionel Messi, who is considered as predecessor of Maradona, is in the team and in super form. Not only Messi, the whole 16 men are well talented and confident that they are ready for the game. Argentina was two time Champions and two time runner-ups.
